On March 15-17, 2012 Vans Custom Culture teamed up with the BFT and The Wolfbat Railway at the Old Iron Works at 612 Piety Street in New Orleans to create a series of spectacular events that included collaboration of artists on a 20 boxcar train, print shows, music by local bands, a fun-house BBQ, and art market which concluded with a parade of the Wolfbat Railway.

Wolfbat Studios (Dennis McNett) & Woodcut Funhouse (Sean Starwars) hosted this three day customization event that was 100% free and open to the public.

The project was designed to spark collaborations between professional artists, educators, college art students and local kids which will create an invaluable learning/working experience for everyone involved. It brought artists and professionals together with students who may normally not be exposed to such a diverse crowd of individuals with a working knowledge of art, print mediums, constructing sculptures, and performing. The event also provided an opportunity for students to show work and be a part of something bigger than themselves.
